How to stop your hair colour fading
Pink, purple, blue & grey. Crazy colours are still the trend & we’ve been working our little butts off trying to meet the unrealistic standards of photo shopped hair snaps. #nofilter #liarliar #thestruggleisreal.
Whaaaattttttt? Hair pics get photo shopped? YES they do. A LOT. And as i’ve said before it’s a hairdressers worst nightmare. So here is an image by us, not photo shopped and because i’m feeling generous, i’m going to tell you our secret, but first………
The problem with these crazy colours is:
a. Getting them to stick.
b. Getting them to last.
c. Making them look like the photo shopped colour in your Pinterest reference photo.
Why?
Because 98.6% of the time the hair has to be blonde, usually white blonde, to get these colours to look any good & for 95.8% of you this means bleaching the bageebies out of your hair.
This might come as a shock to you all but bleach blonde hair lacks a little life, it has no colour pigment what so ever & very little left for soft pastel tones to grab onto. Hence they wash out very quickly.
Tired of your salon colour fading? I have the secret:
