Oh hello wedding season! We’re only a few weeks in and I am gushing over this seriously amazing bride I was lucky to style recently.
I’ve done many weddings in my time in all kinds of destinations but as I ventured out to country WA on this particular sunny September Saturday I knew the second I hit dirt roads and lost phone reception, this was going to be something special.
After my trusty (not so trusty) maps app took me on a scenic tour (detour) of Ferguson Valley I eventually arrived at the most beautiful, delightfully green property in the South West. What a truly stunning back drop to celebrate the marriage of Steph & Warrick.
How totally refreshing it was to get out of my comfort zone and get my vintage on (sorry side buns but we need some space). Hi fives to this stunning couple for being so creative and original, it definitely paid off as I’m sure you’ll all agree these pics look nothing short of AMAZING!
Vintage Waves Down
Let’s talk about the hair for a second………
So although this bride already had long luscious locks we added a full head of clip in extensions for a BOOM factor. We opted for keeping her waves a bit “raw” and slightly rustic which is my fancy way of saying “messy”.
With an outdoor wedding & reception I recommend a slightly messier look every time. This way when the wind blows and you get a few loose strands they’ll look like they’re meant to be there.
A massive congrats to Steph & Warrick and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your beautiful day.
